How to check your Google Analytics installation
I recently had a need to try and reconcile the difference in data between Google Analytics and another analytics tool for the same site. I had to ask our developer to do a pattern search and send me a list of pages that were missing GA code. A new tool called SiteScan would have come in handy. In addition to checking that GA code is installed properly it will also check subdomains, broken links, outbound links, untagged HTML Files, and Flash files.
The cost is reasonable, especially if you've had the experience of finding out well after the fact that you've been running your business off of inaccurate data.
