Search marketing from a Ries/Trout slant

Todd Malicoat had a recent post that seems like a great way to kick off this category. It’s something of a reality check on search engine marketing warfare based on the classic book by Al Ries and Jack Trout. You’ll probably see more references to Todd’s thoughts here as time goes along. He’s a really bright, unassuming young guy who puts a lot of thought into writing insightful pieces (had the opportunity to introduce him to the Boston subway system at Pubcon last year). But I digress…one of the things I told Todd was how much I enjoyed his series called Mr. Ploppy’s Tools. If you have time to explore, you can have some fun there.
