The organizers of theĀ Search and Social Spring Summit in Tampa really pulled off a high-quality conference with a unique Florida flavor. Everything was poolside (on the waterfront to boot), with sessions held in an air-conditioned “wedding” tent, tasty buffet meals and a bar – all within a few short paces. The event was designed for a little over 100 attendees, so all of this added up to a pleasantly informal and casual feel to the whole affair. I actually started day one wearing business casual and was soon down to shorts and flip-flops. ;)
Atmosphere aside, the conference programming was top-notch, with some serious sharing and learning going on, fast-paced maybe, but juicy nuggets galore from some of the best brains and talent in the business, with years of proven successes to their credit.
Oh, and we had fun! Saw old friends. Met new ones. Drank a little more than I usually do, but nothing compared to some (you know who you are!) ;-)
I also used the event as an excuse to test drive my new point-and-shoot camera. My only regret as I review the photos is all the people I remember so well but missed getting into a photo, probably because I was more interested in what they had to say and forgot about the camera. Anyhow, I’ve uploaded them to a Flickr set. Feel free to tag yourself if I haven’t already.

I am not one of those “;-)” people am I? I tried to be good…they corrupted my morals!
LOL. Nope you didn’t even come close to making that list. But you ARE one of ones that I was surprised I didn’t grab better photos of. Guess you were more interesting to listen to. ;)
Thanks for the writeup and photos. Glad you came and enjoyed yourself :)
Pleasure was mine. You guys were awesome hosts.
Hey Jim, it was great meeting you too. Nice pictures!
